MOULIN ROUGE RESTAURANT AND PUB - BELFAST.

Moulin Rouge inside restaurant (2) [320x200]The Moulin Rouge is a family restaurant and pub in Belfast, Mpumalanga. The Moulin Rouge is situated in the Kosmos Centre, Duggan Street. The restaurant is owned by Debbie Strauch since 1 September 2011. The restaurant and pub which is fully licensed, is famous for its excellent menu which includes pizzas, meat dishes, fish dishes, pancakes, chicken pies, burgers and the best eisbeins in the area. All the local beers and spirits are on sale at the pub. Regular functions are planned for the future and all major sport events are shown on the big screen television. A separate dining area is available for the couples who needs a bit of privacy and Moulin Rouge caters for baby showers, lady teas and any corporate events. The chefs are all trained and the food served is of a high quality and real value for money.

Debbie is originally from the Steelpoort area where she worked for a mining company as a Human Resources Officer. Prior to relocating to Steelpoort, Debbie was involved in the management of two hotels in Kwazulu Natal. Whilst residing in Newcastle, she was managing the Status Hotel and later managed the food and beverage section of the Greytown Hotel in the Kwazulu Natal Midlands. It was one of her lifetime goals to own her own restaurant one day, and it came sooner than she thought after her husband accepted a position at Machadodorp Assmang Chrome. Debbie was informed that the Moulin Rouge was for sale and immediately showed interest and it did not take her long to decide to take on the opportunity and fulfill her dream.

The restaurant is visited daily by locals from Belfast who all has praise for the way in which she manages the restaurant. With the assistance from a few friends, more and more tourists and passersby visit the restaurant on a regular basis. The restaurant is open daily from 09:00 until 22:00 and Sundays from 11:00 to 14:00 for Sunday lunch. Debbie plans to re-introduce the Sunday buffet which was a success for the previous owner, from the beginning of November 2011.

Debbie invites all to come and support her and guarantee the best service and food at all times. "I am here to satisfy the needs of my clients and any ideas or recommendations are welcome". Debbie can be contacted on 0825742981 or 0820993849. A pizza take away services will also be available as from 01 November 2011 in the Belfast CBD.
